Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment

LinkHouse Poker is built on trust. We follow privacy-by-default principles: your data is encrypted, your exact location is never shared publicly, and you control your visibility at all times.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name, email, display name, experience level, profile photo.
• Location data: General area/city only. Exact addresses are never stored in plaintext and are only revealed via Proximity Unlock to confirmed players within the host's configured window.
• Game & session data: Game listings you create or join, RSVP status, bankroll sessions, reviews, and community posts.
• Verification data: ID document type, selfie (for identity match), and verification tier. Documents are used solely for verification and are not shared with other users.
• Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We never store your card number or full payment details.

3. Location Scrubbing

By default, your exact location is scrubbed from all public-facing views. Only your general area (city/neighborhood) is shown. Exact addresses for games are revealed only through Proximity Unlock — either at a host-configured time before the game or immediately upon confirmed RSVP, depending on the host's settings. You can adjust your location visibility in Settings.

4. Opt-Out for Visibility

You may opt out of public discovery entirely. When enabled, your profile will not appear in search results, leaderboards, or community feeds. You will still be able to join games and use the Platform, but other users cannot find or follow you unless you share a direct invite link.

5. Encrypted Trust

All communications between confirmed game participants are encrypted. Verification documents are stored securely and are never exposed to other users. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

6. Data Portability

You have the right to export your data at any time. Visit Settings → Data Portability to download a JSON file containing your profile, game history, sessions, reviews, and community activity.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time through Support. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., safety incident records).

8. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing, which is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to third parties. AI features (bankroll coach, digital bouncer) process your data to provide insights and are not used to train external models.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
